Inventory Planning Analyst
About the Role
As an Inventory Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the right products are available at the right Stores, at the right time, and in the right quantities.
You will work closely with category, supply chain, and store operations teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce stock-outs, minimize dead stock, and improve working capital efficiency.This role requires strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and a deep understanding of retail inventory dynamics.
What You Will Be Doing
Forecast demand at store and SKU level using historical sales trends and seasonality
Plan replenishment cycles to maintain optimal stock levels
Look into re-ordering and ARS
Monitor and reduce stock-outs, overstock, and slow-moving inventory
Track inventory health metrics such as sell-through, inventory turns, fill rates, and aging
Partner with category and supply teams for purchase planning and allocation
Analyze pricing, promotions, and new launches for inventory impact
Improve working capital efficiency through better planning and stock optimization
Build dashboards and reports for leadership visibility
Identify process gaps and drive data-backed improvements
What We Would Like to See in You
1–4 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain analytics, or retail operations
Strong Excel and analytical skills (SQL is a plus)
Aware about warehouse process especially inwarding
Understanding of demand forecasting and replenishment logic
Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
High ownership mindset and comfort in a fast-paced startup
